Our Connemara Ponies|
Maumturk Heather [Silky]
Before her long journey to Thornapple Farms in the fall of 2002, “Silky” lived and played on the hills and rocky meadows of Connemara in County Galway, Ireland.
A proven broodmare, Silky presents substance, heart, intelligence and superb disposition. She possesses that especially fine trot coveted in carriage driving.
Her sire, Abbeyleix Owen, is a consistent producer of quality stock who place
well in the reknowned Clifden Show.
